Art is a diverse range of human activities. Drawing, painting, dancing, sculpting is not only what truly describes art. There are a lot of art forms that are not given enough exposure. If you are looking for those art forms you are at the right place. Let’s take a look at the different unusual art forms.

Human Flowers

Human minds are creative but did you know human bodies can be very creative as well. Flexible human bodies can do wonders and one such wonder is the art of making human flowers. The only drawback of these kind of flowers is like the real one they don’t last forever.

Reverse Graffiti

Who would have thought this street art could be of any use too. Reverse Graffiti is a method of creating temporary or semi-permanent images on walls or other surfaces by removing dirt from a surface. So the next time there is dust on your wall or car, do try making a sketch or drawing out of it.

Light Painting

Lights make everything lively. Painting makes everything beautiful. Add the two and get the perfect combination. Light painting, or light drawing, is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure.

Cheraw Dance

Cheraw dance is also known as the bamboo dance. It is performed in Mizoram as a ritual. Four people hold two crossed pairs of bamboo staves. It is one of the most famous dances in Mizoram, and a center of attraction during festive occasions. The next time you go for a dance competition perform the Cheraw dance and leave everyone amazed.

Ice Sculpture

Carving a beautiful sculpture out of a giant block of ice is definitely not something everyone would think of usually. Sculptures from ice can be abstract or realistic and can be functional or purely decorative. Ice sculptures are generally associated with special or extravagant events because of their limited lifetime. Only pure and crystal clear water is used for carving ice sculptures. There are a number of ice sculpturing events around the world.

Sand Painting

Sand painting is done by throwing in different colored sands to make a beautiful design. It is known as a ritual in the Indian region to do sand painting using colorful sand which they call it as Rangoli. Sand painting is also done using the usual brown sand and carving various scenes or painting out of it. It is one of the most beautiful art which is most of the times temporary.

Photorealism

Realism is what everyone wants in their day to day life. What would adding realism to art be like? Perhaps something like the art form of photo realism. Photo realism is an extremely realistic style of painting and drawing, in which the artwork is based entirely on a photograph. Photo realist art is most appreciated for its huge WOW! factor. People often mistake photo realist paintings for actual photographs.

Butter Sculpture

The history of carving food into sculptures is ancient yet hardly known by many. The butter that people would think of only using for breakfast to have a tasty meal can bring out this extravagant art form and who would have thought of that? Butter sculptures often depict animals, people, buildings and other objects. They are best known as attractions at state fairs in the United States as life size cows and people, but can also be found on banquet tables and even small decorative butter pats.

Anything that makes the unusual also extraordinary is art. Apart from the art forms given above there are many other art forms that are not known much but are deserved to. Do add to the list with art forms that you perform or know of which depict true art culture, vagueness with beauty.
