In IIT Guwahati the fees are Rs. 68,000, IIT Mandi has a fee of Rs 1.59 Lakhs and TISS Mumbai Rs. 78,000. For students who want to study this program abroad the fee is £22,575 per year. Eligibility: Development Studies is a two year post-graduate program and to be eligible for this course students need a bachelors degree from a relevant organization along with a percentage of above 50%. Although a large number of institutes may ask for an entrance exam. Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination and Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test. These tests are conducted by a pre-interview test and a personal interview. Students must need to score 40% for the main test, pre interview test consist of 30% and personal interview consists of 30%. For international students the test for personal interviews are taken online. After completion of this course, students can even opt for higher degrees in the field of development studies like in the field of B.ed, PhD and Phil.
