The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 stands as India’s premier global mobility event, bringing together the world’s leading automotive and mobility innovators. The theme for Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is “Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain.” This theme aims to bring about collaboration and transformative innovation across the automotive and mobility sector, strongly focusing on sustainable practices and next-generation technologies. This expansive event showcases participation from over 13 global markets, including key pavilions from Germany, UAE, China, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan. Spread across 200,000 square meters, it features more than 1,500 exhibitors, draws over 500,000 visitors, and highlights the groundbreaking innovations of 34 vehicle manufacturers and 800 auto component makers.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry organises the event in collaboration with EEPC India, is currently taking place from January 17–22, 2025, across three key venues in Delhi NCR: Bharat Mandapam (New Delhi), Yashobhoomi (Dwarka), and the India Expo Centre & Mart (Greater Noida) highlighting India’s emergence as a global hub for mobility innovation, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 7C vision for mobility.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event on Day 1, marking the start of a series of exciting launches including the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Prominent exhibitors include Ather Energy, Ola Electric, Vayve Mobility, Eka Mobility, and international brands such as VinFast from Vietnam.
On the second day, 56 product launches were introduced at Bharat Mandapam, along with five at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka. On the third day, SIAM successfully organized the first Summit for Automotive Future Advancement in Road Safety (SAFAR) at Bharat Mandapam, to drive discussions on innovative solutions for road safety. The theme for it was United Efforts for Road Safety: Safer Roads, our responsibility. Honda Motor & Scooter Ltd reinforced its commitment to this theme by introducing a Value Life, Ride Safe initiative. Whereas, Maruti Suzuki set up a driving simulator under the road safety VR Zone as an initiative to educate people on safe driving practices. On day 4, TVS Motor Company introduced the TVS King EV MAX, India’s first Bluetooth-connected electric three-wheeler, aimed at enhancing urban mobility with sustainable technology. The vehicle is equipped with TVS SmartXonnect, offering real-time navigation, alerts, and vehicle diagnostics through smartphone integration.

Eva At Bharat Mobility Expo
In an event, Vayve Mobility introduced Eva, India’s first solar-powered electric car, at an exciting introductory price of Rs 3.25 lakh it was showcased first at the Auto Expo in 2023, the Eva features a flexible solar panel on its roof which is claimed to enhance the hatchback’s range by up to 10 km every day. Eva comes in three variants: 9 kWh, 12 kWh, and 18 kWh, with prices ranging from Rs 3.25 lakh to Rs 5.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Customers can opt for flexible Battery Subscription options.
Vayve Mobility claims that most owners average a daily commute of less than 35 km with less than 1.5 passengers per car and the Eva can be the perfect vehicle for them as Vayve Mobility claims an operational cost of just ₹0.5 paise per km, which also makes the Eva much cheaper than several electric vehicles on sale. This EV will compete as a rival to the MG Comet EV even as it is sold at a much lower price bracket.

Eka Mobility’s electric commercial vehicles

EKA Mobility is a trailblazer in the electric vehicle and technology industry which has taken a monumental step towards sustainable transportation by unveiling the country’s most expansive range of electric commercial vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The new range from EKA includes over 11 electric platforms, spanning buses, trucks, and small commercial vehicles (SCVs) aiming to meet the growing demand for sustainable solutions in areas like public transport, long-haul logistics, and last-mile connectivity.
Whereas, when it comes to buses, medical vehicles, etc these companies were up in the game. JBM Electric Vehicles unveiled four electric buses, including a luxury coach and a medical mobile unit. Mantra Electric launched two small electric commercial vehicles. Hyundai Motor Company revealed concept models for electric three-wheelers and micro four-wheelers. Pinnacle Industries introduced three ambulance models tailored for specific needs, including neonatal care.
Other important launches of homegrown cars at Auto Expo 2025
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
When Maruti Suzuki introduced the Vitara it attracted the most attention. The India-spec e-Vitara will only be available with a front-wheel drivetrain configuration and two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. Its exterior and interior are identical to those of the global-spec vehicle.
The 49 kWh option will be paired with a 144 PS/192.5 Nm electric motor, while the latter battery pack option will be paired with a 174 PS/192.5 Nm electric motor. According to Maruti, the e Vitara would deliver a claimed range of more than 500 kilometres.
Tata Motors Displays Harrier Bandipur Edition and Harrier EV
Tata Motors displayed the Bandipur Edition, the regular and stealth versions of the Harrier EV, and the Harrier SUV in three different configurations. The Harrier Bandipur Edition has been displayed as a tribute to Karnataka’s Bandipur National Park and has a distinctive metallic bronze exterior tone. It will come with features and engine choices comparable to the standard model.
It has been established that the production-spec Harrier EV would have an all-wheel drivetrain with an electric powertrain that produces 500 Nm of torque with an all-black interior and a matte black exterior, the Harrier EV Stealth Edition anticipates having a powertrain that is comparable to that of the regular Harrier EV.
Mahindra Introduces Electric SUVs: XEV 9e and BE 6
At the Auto Expo 2025, Mahindra showcased two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6. Both offer a range of up to 682 kilometres and come with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options. Key features include ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic glass roof with ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, and a multi-screen setup. The BE 6 is priced between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 26.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e costs between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
