Being introduced to gastronomical delights from a very young age, Pankaj Bhadouria bagged the title of India’s first Masterchef and hosted the appetising TV show Chef Pankajka Zayka on Star Plus. She now heads Pb Culinary Academy, spreading yummy and tantalising flavours all over.

Tangy Tomato Chicken


Recipe Ingredients:
Boneless chicken breast                4 nos
Chilli flakes                                         ¼ tsp
Oregano                                               ½ tsp
Crushed pepper                                  1 tsp
Olive oil                                                 2 tbs
Tangy Sauce
Butter                                                     1 tbs
Garlic paste                                          1 tsp
Tomato puree                                     4 tbs
Stock                                                       100 ml
Olive oil                                                 2 tbs
Chopped coriander                          2 tsp

Recipe Method:

Clean the chicken breast and make a slit on one side to make a pocket. Mix together the chilli, oregano and crushed pepper and oil.
Drag the breasts through the mix. Fill the remaining mix in the pockets of the chicken breast. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the chicken for 3 minutes on both sides or till done. Remove from heat and keep covered.


  • Heat the butter in another pan.
  • Add the garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and stir to a boil.
  • Cook on simmer for five minutes
  • Pour over the chicken and serve hot.
