GIFs IN 3D
GIFs, those looped, moving images that make the staple diet of BuzzFeed and Tumblr, are now being rendered with 3D effects, so every thing happens literally in your face. That funny GIF of someone slipping and falling you watch all the time? Now you can see it in 3D.

THE VIRTUE OF ALOK NATH
Alok Nath has been the flavour of the month with a bar rage of memes that depict his ‘sanskaari ’ – his cultured and refined principles. He was even made the prot agonist of The Viral Fever video Breaking Good on YouTube which accumulated over 4 lakh views.

#100 HAPPYDAYS
A challenge that requires you to be happy for 100 days consecutively – the latest fad on Facebook and Instagram . Take a picture of one thing that makes you happy, upload and hash tag away. Are n’t people doing that online any way?

SHAMELESS PUBLICITY
Dasha Zhukova, editorin-chief of Russian fashion magazine GARAGE, courted much controversy after posing thus for a photo shoot for an interview. If that wasn’t racist enough, the interview went live on Martin Luther King Day (talk about timing!). How some people don’t understand racial sensitivity is baffling.
