Find out more about Anurita Jha, the talented actress who’s making waves after her performance in Gangs of Wassepur

Born in Bihar and raised in Delhi, Anurita decided to follow her dreams and move to the city of Mumbai. Anurita’s presence was felt in the modelling hunt after she won Channel V’s model hunt ‘Get Gorgeous 6’ and dazzled on the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week and Will’s India Fashion Week. After bagging a role in Anurag Kashyap’s critical and commercial success Gangs of Wasseypur, Anurita proved she’s more than just a pretty face. She was able to meet the demands of the roles, especially the accent she was required to speak in as Anurita was born in Bihar.
