The elections are here and the citizens are gearing up to vote for their government on the 29th of April, 2019. It has become very important to promote voting as every vote counts. The polling of Maharashtra has begun from the 11th of April in the first four phases. The results of these polls will be announced on the 23rd of May. Some restaurants in Mumbai have taken it up a notch by introducing discounts and offers on their menus to propagate voting and urge the citizens to be more responsible.
Tatu’s Nook Chinese and Thai restaurant, Goregaon
This restaurant in Mumbai announced a special discount for anyone who orders food after voting on the 29th of April. 20 percent discount will be given to voters on election day. In the previous elections of 2014, their similar initiative received a good response from the public, so they wanted to continue the initiative this year as well.
Via Bombay, Chembur

Catering Indian and Asian flavors with a twist of old Bombay, this restaurant has come up with a small but vital offer for Voting Day. It offers a Fresh Lime Water to each socially responsible person who walks in on Monday, 29th April.
Coffee by Di Bella, All High Street Outlets
This voting season, CBD is making your vote worth even more by giving out free coffees to all patrons who flaunt their inked fingers on Election Day! All you need to do is cast your vote, head to the nearest Coffee By Di Bella outlet, and show them your proof of voting…viola! You got yourself a complimentary Cuppa Joe! Only one coffee per person.
Le Café, Chembur
With a bright and cute ambience, this café is a haven for people who love continental food and desserts. Similar to Via Bombay’s offer, Le Café also offers a Fresh Lime Water to each socially responsible person who walks in on Monday, 29th April. It’s a perfect incentive for this summer heat, wouldn’t you say?
If you thought your vote doesn’t count, it certainly does!
