It feels strange that Duke Nukem Forever has actually released. Twelve years in the making, the game has become synonymous with game delays and vapourware, and has for long been the laughing stock of the industry. With original developer 3D Realms closing down and Gearbox taking over, Duke — the gum-chewing, one-liner-spewing, babe-saving narcissist will fi nally grace a videogame of the 21st century. Nostalgia aside, let’s hope DNF actually plays like a game that belongs in 2011. – PLATFORMS: XBOX 360, PS3, PC
