CUISINE: North & South Indian, Mughlai
BITES AND BOOZE: Let me start of by saying that this is the only restaurant in Mumbai that encourages usage of sign language as all their staff are differently abled, but that doesn’t stop them from displaying utmost hospitality. The ambience was absolutely pleasing with hues of copper and gold adorning the walls. We started off with margaritas, of which the Mango and Chilli, with its refreshing and slightly spicy tinge is a delight. The dips were unlike any seen before and made to suit various palates (made in-house). The Assorted veg Tava Platter was a surprise with their take on the Maharastrian kotambir vadi being the highlight. The Tandoori Fish and Prawn platter was prepared in a never before see, Seekh Style. The flavors were blended together to perfection and it tasted like heaven. For the main course, we were served the Raw Mango curry and Rice which was prepared in a coconut base. The prawns were as juicy as they could get and the raw mango pieces were the perfect add-on.
FAB OR DRAB: The calm and laid back ambience this place offers was a seller. That, coupled with very reasonable rates should be enough reason for you to try this place out. If that isn’t enough; their dessert list will make your mouth water. With the Eton Mess which took over our hearts with its unusual recipe and the Nutella and Toffee Tarte Fine, which leaves you wanting more; this restaurant is an all round winner.
