After the resounding success of LLW 2018, Luxury Lifestyle Weekend (LLW), is back in 2019 in a brighter, bolder, even more opulent avatar. Conceptualised and executed by Magnanimous Group – a leader in luxury consulting and provider of bespoke experiential services, LLW 2019 is all set to take Mumbai and the country by storm.

The event promises to be a three-day luxury extravaganza celebrating the exclusivity of its brand partners, high-profile and distinguished guests and purveyors of all things beautiful. Set in the splendour of the JioGarden, this edition of the Luxury Lifestyle Weekend will see even greater interaction with patrons and a more immersive overall experience. With over 30,000 people including HNIs, UHNIs industrialists, business leaders and influencers expected to attend the event over the course of the weekend.

The Luxury Lifestyle Weekend will showcase over 150 international and Indian luxury lifestyle brands, each of which will engage visitors in unique, interactive sessions and sensory experiences, all set in an ambience of opulence. Day 1 at LLW 2019 will begin with an exclusive preview for IIFL Wealth Management invitees from 11 am to 2pm. When the doors open to the public, luxury enthusiasts can enter an almost enchanted world of luxury brands, international entertainment, curated dining and desirable art.

Specialised masterclasses conducted by leading experts in various fields and power panel discussions led by opinion makers and thought leaders will round out the weekend’s activities, bringing the city together and creating an enriching ecosystem of scale. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect at LLW 2019: Bespoke Brand Experiences Never-seen-before unique creations from top international brands across various categories come together seamlessly at this luxury showcase. Guests will be regaled with specially curated experiences while enjoying personalised service and an unparalleled sense of extravagance.

Christie’s Christie’s will be displaying the Patek Philippe. an extremely fine and extremely rare 18k pink gold chronograph wristwatch. It formally belonged to the Eric Clapton collection. According to research, no more than four examples of pink gold references 1463 retailed by Serpico y Laino have been offered in public to date. Christie’s will be displaying the Souza, Husain and Raza at LLW 2019.

Panerai Panerai is bringing their Novelties from SIHH 2019 especially for LLW 2019.

Scentido As a first, LLW will also witness the launch of two new niche brands – Alexandre J. and Masque Milano, whose olfactory compositions are bold, engaging and extraordinary! Chivas – The Chivas Lounge would be hosting timepiece connoisseurs through the Weekend, across hosted events from some of the most recognized names on the circuit. Patrons would have the opportunity to sip and savour the delighful Chivas 18 YO – a symphony of 85 different notes in every drop! Indeed, a spirit to match the occasion. Chivas will also have an extremerly rare and unique installation of their 25 YO.

The Conscious Capsule – Luxury is synonymous with the decadent. While remaining true to excellence in design and craftsmanship however, luxury has entered modern times. Connoisseurs and purveyors of luxury have become increasingly environmentally conscious and now live in an age where organic, fair-trade and responsibly-sourced are must-have certifications on most products. In keeping with this evolved and trend-setting mindset, LLW 2019 will play its part in influencing the conscious consumer through its newly launched Conscious Capsule. Presented by Raymond, and co-curated by Lighthouse Co the LLW, the Conscious Capsule is a designated space where a select few brands will display their responsibly sourced, organic and environmentally-friendly product

Power Panels – Leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, thought leaders and opinion makers spanning numerous categories will come together at LLW 2019 to engage in thought-provoking conversations on real-estate, travel, fashion, business, art and the evolution of luxury. On Day 1, the panel discussions will include Conscious Luxury – A Win-Win? Can the Young Afford Art? and Trends Reshaping Luxury Consumerism. Day 2 will witness conversation about Luxury Experiences – Wave of the Future? Each power panel will be moderated by Aabha Bakaya, and promises to leave audiences with questions, opinions, ideas and a whole new perspective on all things luxury.

Specially curated masterclasses at LLW 2019 will enable visitors to learn first-hand from the experts themselves. Over the weekend, masterclasses on the Introduction to the World of Collecting Watches conducted by Christie’s watch expert Remy Julia, The Emergence of the Collectible Handbag by Rachel Koffsky, Head of Sales – Handbags and Accessories at Christie’s and a make-up masterclass by Vipul Bhagat from Shiseido will provide unique insights into the world of haute couture, haute horlogerie and more, demonstrating to the discerning audiences that with luxury, there is almost always more than meets the eye, and that true decadence may well extend beyond a price tag.

A unique collection of art, titled The Future of Art: Sustainability; specially curated for LLW 2019 by Lekha Washington will remain on display throughout the weekend. Each piece in the collection represents the artist’s perceptions and seeks to enlighten those who see it. An auction of some of the artwork will take place at the conclusion of the weekend.

Throughout the day and into the evening, visitors to LLW 2019 can enjoy musical entertainment from global artists and DJs set to impress with electrifying rock-n-roll, jazz and blues. Some of the performers for the weekend include Portico, The Revue and dOP (DJ Set).

LLW 2019’s Outdoor Café will offer some of Mumbai’s most sought-after delicacies. Top restaurants like The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, The Clearing House, Miss T, The Pantry Café and more will tickle your taste buds with exclusively designed menus, special dishes and delightful cocktails encompassing an array of flavours, techniques and aesthetics.

Some call them opinion makers, others call them digital influencers. Called ‘LLW insiders’, they’re going to help you navigate the weekend in style. Hosted Engagements

While JioGarden transforms into a luxury enclave for the weekend, LLW 2019 takes exclusivity to the next level with five plush venues where Mumbai’s swish set will host private lunches, brunches, sundowners and high teas for the distinguished few in an ambience that emanates elegance.

Opening Night

Opening Night at LLW 2019 will be a celebration of all things French. An invitee-only soirée hosted by Atout France and La Vallée Village, the French-themed evening promises to be trés chic. Delectable French cuisine and an abundance of the finest champagne will be accompanied by the electronic-house beats of French DJ dOP and the jazz and folk stylings of London-based band Portico.

Royal Salute Olfactory Studio

Product Creative Advisor for Royal Salute whiskey and “nose” extraordinaire, Barnabé Fillion will guide 25 guests on an immersive journey through some of the world’s finest malts, delving into intricate art of blending as perfected by Royal Salute. The hour-long session will highlight unique facets of each malt, and fragrances especially created especially by Barnabé to match the whiskies will enhance the multi-sensory experience.

The Royal Salute Olfactory Studio will transition into a once-in-a-lifetime celebration with dinner and cocktails for 80 high-profile guests, accompanied with music by The Revue.

LLW x AAH Charity Dinner

To conclude the whirlwind weekend, LLW will co-host a charity dinner along with an auction with Action Against Hunger, an internationally present NGO working towards the prevention of malnutrition among children ages 0-5 years. Auctioneer Zain Talyarkhan will be hosting the auction and the luxury items to be auctioned are a piece of jewellery by Renu Oberoi, a magnificent timepiece, a unique artwork and a rare artefact. Proceedings from the auction will go to Action Against Hunger. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by dOP (DJ Set) and young table virtuoso Keshava.
