How was the band A1000miles apart formed?
Me and my friend/bandmate kiran were listenin to some post-rock bands one afternoon in June, we were listening to random songs of God is an Astronaut, Hammock, 65daysofstatic, etc and then we got so inspired that we decided to form a post-rock band of our own. The reason I kept this name for our band is because I just had a break up with my ex-girlfriend and I was feeling very melancholic; it actually felt as if she had gone a 1000 miles away from me…

Tell us about your demo album Sense.

This demo is very emotional, it’s sure to make the listener nostalgic and hopefull and sometimes even melancholic, it’s an amalgam of a lot of emotions.

Which musicians (if any) have an influence on the music you produce?
God is an Astronaut,65daysofstatic, Hammock, Solar fields, maybeshewill, sigur ros etc.

Do you have any live performances planned for the near future?
No, we won’t do live ; we want to remain underground.
