Aryan Khan’s Vision for the Series
Aryan Khan, who grew up in the world of cinema, brings his unique perspective to this project. Although the series is not a biopic of his father but will echo some aspects of Shah Rukh Khan’s journey as an outsider breakingly stepping into the Bollywood industry. The series is tentatively titled Stardom, a greeting to the world of fame and the struggles that come with it. Further, Monika Shergill, VP of Content at Netflix India, shared her thoughts on the partnership: “We’re thrilled to partner with Red Chillies Entertainment once again — this time, for a very special series, directed by Aryan Khan. Aryan brings a bold and dynamic directorial vision, and has created something truly one-of-a-kind and thoroughly entertaining.”
Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment previously collaborated for many other dramas following some successful projects like the crime drama Class of ’83 and the zombie thriller Betaal and this will be their sixth venture together. While Aryan Khan has previously ventured into fashion and business, his directorial debut marks his first major step into the world of film. Fans are eager to see how his personal experiences growing up in a film family will influence the narrative of this highly anticipated series.
Showering on Instagram Stories with praises, Kangana expressed her enthusiasm for Aryan’s brilliant choice of working behind the camera, commending him for not following the typical ritual of star kids who often opt for acting. In her post, she complimented Aryan for charting his path while simultaneously slamming other star kids, accusing them of failing to bring substantial contributions to the industry.
In the vibrant world of the film industry, the untitled series promises to be bold and entertaining, following a charismatic, ambitious outsider as they navigate the glamorous yet challenging realm of Bollywood. Packed with high-stakes drama, sharp humour, star-studded cameos, and over-the-top characters, the show is expected to deliver an unforgettable tribute to Indian cinema. This is something interesting happening for the first time in Bollywood history where the father will act and the son will be the director, we all are excited to see them in 2025 with the most unexpected and anticipated journey in Indian cinema.
