Rendezvous, brought to you by IIT Delhi, is North India’s largest cultural festival. The 2019 rendition from October 2-5 will witness the grandest and the most extravagant affair ever. Four days packed with events ranging through all categories and a celebration of culture like never before. In past, rendezvous has hosted over 225 events, a footfall of over 80,000, 13,000+ participants and over 170 artists from more than 20 countries. The stars hosted include the likes of Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, Javed Ali, Falak Shabir and Arijit Singh among many others.
To continue the legacy this year, Rendezvous brings to you A Mystical Odyssey. Unparalleled experience, unlimited fun and a journey to a different dimension are what you can expect. Releasing the mind-boggling lineup, Melange, on October 2 will have on the stage the iconic trio of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa (Shankar Ehsaan Loy). The air will be charged with energy Gear up for one of the largest musical nights as the hearts of ten of thousands of people will reverberate live with friendship, love and hope on the 2nd of October, 2019.
On the second day of Rendezvous, i.e., the 3rd of October, we’ll be having with us the sensational star, who has created a buzz in the electronic music scene and is one of the youngest producers of the country, Ritviz. He has made a dent in the already crowded Indian electronic music circuit contributing to desi bass music, influenced by mainstream EDM, trap and dubstep. So, get ready as Spectrum will hold a lot in store for you to enjoy the real essence of music.
Next in line, we have Kaleidoscope on October 4 with our Gully Boy Naezy, a hip hop name that is in every rap lover’s playlist now. His struggles to fame are well known and inspiring and can be seen in his unique style. To make the day a memorable one, we have a Kavi Sammelan,a professional poet evening featuring Dr Kumar Vishwas, one of the most sensational youth icons in the poetry world-famous for his rhythmic presentations; Dr Popular Meeruthi, recently awarded Kaka Hathrasi Award, well known for his nerve tickling yet strong stance on various socio-political issues, and Shri Azm Shakiri, with his unique poetry style which has given words to every feeling that human heart experiences.
