Every Potterhead, at it one time or another, has dreamt of studying at Hogwarts. The magical castle is a dream school for most people who have seen it on celluloid or read about it in the Harry Potter books. The Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, located in China, has made this dream come true for Potter maniacs as its campus is a castle that has an uncanny resemblance to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The school has a lot of features, like its huge clock tower, numerous turrets and tall spires that are similar to Alnwick Castle part of the Harry Potter movies and books.
The building is called ‘Cinderella’s Castle’ and is said to have cost about 2.4 billion Chinese Yuan that is approximately 23 billion Indian Rupees to build. The building’s designers have said that the castle is an example of English architecture and not a copy of the Hogwarts castle. However, most Harry Potter fans will be more than happy to refute those claims.
The school is already a tourist attraction in the province and will be open to students by the end of this year.
