BLAZE’19: A Sports Festival To Wat

NMIMS, with more than 12000 students and 513 full-time members, boasts of a legacy of 36 years. One part of NMIMS is the Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, which was established in 2007 and is known to be one of the best schools in India to pursue BBA.

The ASMSOC Sports Club, one of the biggest sports societies in Mumbai shares their passion for sports with others through our flagship event ‘Blaze’. Blaze’19 provides a platform to experience the competition spirit, with teams coming from all over the country and abroad as well to participate in the Football and Basketball tournaments.

They hope to integrate sports in the lives of the young and underprivileged by collaborating with Oscar Foundation in their campaign “Kick Like A Girl” through which their Girls’ football team will participating in Blaze as well. Oscar Foundation instills in kids the value of education through football, enabling them to realise their true potential, and providing them with the life skills necessary to develop their community and society. This prevents kids from dropping out of school and mobilises the backward communities towards a better future.

Blaze’19 will be a jaw-dropping extravaganza with a footfall of 2000+ and there will be an introduction of interactive activities for the audience as well. What makes Blaze’19 special is that this year, it is not just about sports but also about promoting a cause.
