Tier 2 university students eligible for scholarships worth £3000
New Delhi, 20 November 2023: University of Essex, UK-based and ranked 18th in the UK for Economics by QS World University Rankings 2023 is thrilled to introduce the Academic Excellence International Master’s Scholarship for Indian students. This initiative is designed to provide financial support to Tier 2 university students in India pursuing postgraduate studies in the UK. Scholarships worth up to £3000 are available for Indian students who are looking to enroll in January 2024 intakes.
The scholarship is open to Indian students from Tier 2 universities who have completed their undergraduate degrees either overseas or in the UK and are self-funding their postgraduate studies. The application process is simplified, as applicants are automatically considered upon submission of a complete application for relevant courses. This eliminates the need for a separate scholarship application, streamlining the process for prospective students.
Emphasizing academic merit, the scholarship awards are based on a candidate’s academic achievements. Applicants are required to submit a detailed statement of purpose, along with academic or work references and valid English Language test results. Also, students who have achieved a minimum of 60% or CGPA 6.5/10 or CGPA 2.6/4 are eligible for the scholarship.
The scholarship is applicable across all courses and departments, except East 15 Acting School, showcasing the University of Essex’s commitment to supporting students across diverse disciplines. As a testament to its dedication, the grant is awarded as a partial tuition fee waiver, underlining the University’s commitment to facilitating the educational aspirations of talented Indian students and fostering a global community of academic excellence.
