The Boss Dialogues is a series of informal interactions with iconic personalities from the entertainment industry which are hosted at Escobar in Bandra once a month. Every edition sees a different personality engage in intimate conversations with host and renowned entertainment journalist Indu Mirani. The sessions are designed to allow the celebrity to open up about their personality, creative process and body of work.
The 5th edition which was hosted in September featured Shekhar Kapur who is one of the few directors to have worked in both Bollywood and Hollywood. He is a widely recognised filmmaker who has received praise for many of his films across the world.
He opened up about cinema and life explaining that he was initially a successful Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant in London before he turned his interests to media. He then returned to India and went on to become one of India’s most well known models and highest paid television actors. He directed many award winning commercials before finding his passions in film direction.
Additionally, he also discussed his lectures around the world including prestigious platforms like the World Economic Forum, water conservation, his intermittent work, and his partnerships with Gotham Chopra and A.R. Rahman.
