New UGC guidelines for reopening of universities and colleges issued 

UGC guidelines were released on November 5, 2020, regarding the reopening of universities and colleges across the nation. The new UGC guidelines releases generic and preventive measures to be taken and appropriate behavior to be followed by students and staff while the physical classes resume. As per the UGC guidelines, ‘’Up to 50% of students may be allowed on a rotation basis to attend the classes.’’

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) said, ‘’Its 3-hour exam is of a different pattern altogether, which have descriptive answers and not tick marks.’’ ICAI said to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, ‘’CA exams test the analytical capabilities of the examinee.’’

People gathered on the railway line of Chandor in South Goa to block several trains carrying Adani’s coal. WhatsApp rolls out payments services in India from today

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPC) gave its permission to WhatsApp to offer payment services via UPI in the multi-bank model. WhatsApp Pay joins apps like GooglePay, PhonePay, Paytm, and others offering Payments via UPI. WhatsApp Pay waited for two-year for the decision.

The teachers, working in schools of Khirsu, Pauri, Kot, Pabo, and Kaljikhal blocks of Pauri district, detected positive for COVID-19. The Health Secretary said to take all the necessary precautions against the increasing number of coronavirus cases and said it is likely to spread further during the winter season.

Scientists might have discovered the Moon’s “long-lost twin” hiding behind Mars, it’s not a moon, but a Trojan asteroid which has moon-like composition. NASA said, ‘’Closely resembling our moon, this asteroid named (101429) 1998 VF31 is about 1 km in diameter and sharing the Martian orbit, It’s a Mars-crossing Asteroid’’.
