Terms & Conditions for Contributors

1. No AI-Generated Content

All submissions must be 100% human-written. The use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Jasper, or any other AI writing assistant) to generate, rewrite, or substantially edit article content is strictly prohibited. Our editorial team uses plagiarism and AI detection tools to screen every submission. Articles flagged as AI-generated will be immediately rejected, and repeat offenders will be permanently blocked from contributing.

Using AI for basic grammar/spell-check (like Grammarly) is acceptable. Using AI to generate sentences, paragraphs, or entire articles is not.

2. Originality & No Plagiarism

Every submission must be entirely original work that has not been published elsewhere (including your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn, or any other platform). Plagiarism of any kind — including paraphrasing without attribution, copying from other publications, or recycling previously published content — will result in immediate rejection. All facts, statistics, and quotes must be properly cited with credible sources.

3. No Monetary Compensation

Youth Incorporated Magazine is a non-profit publication. We do not offer payment for contributed articles. In return, contributors receive exposure to our audience of millions of young readers, a published byline with author bio and headshot, a permanent link to their published work for their portfolio, and promotion across our social media channels (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Upon publication, the article becomes the intellectual property of Youth Incorporated Magazine. This includes the written content, headline, and any edits made by our editorial team. Youth Incorporated reserves the right to publish, republish, distribute, modify, or remove the article at its sole discretion, across any medium (web, social media, print, syndication, email newsletters, etc.). Contributors may not republish the article elsewhere without prior written permission from Youth Incorporated Magazine.

5. Attribution & Author Credit

All published contributors receive full author attribution, including their name as the byline, a short bio (50-100 words), a link to their website or social media profile, and their headshot/photo displayed alongside the article. Contributors may reference and link to their published article from their own website, resume, or social profiles. However, the article text itself must not be reproduced elsewhere.

6. Images & Thumbnail

Contributors are encouraged to submit a featured image/thumbnail (1200x630px or similar aspect ratio) along with their article. All images must be original, properly licensed (Creative Commons, Unsplash, Pexels, etc.), or accompanied by proof of permission. Youth Incorporated Magazine is not responsible for copyright claims arising from images submitted by contributors. If no suitable image is provided, our editorial team may source one.

7. Editorial Discretion

Youth Incorporated Magazine reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, grammar, tone, length, and alignment with our editorial standards. We may also choose not to publish a submission without providing a reason. Submitting an article does not guarantee publication. Our editorial team's decision is final.

8. Exclusivity of Content

Please note that all articles published on Youth Incorporated are unique and exclusive to our platform and should not be featured elsewhere before or after we publish any article.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an article through this form or via email to admin@youthincmag.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all the terms and conditions stated above. You confirm that the work is your own, that it has not been generated by AI, and that you transfer ownership of the published content to Youth Incorporated Magazine.

Last updated: April 2026. These terms apply to all submissions received after this date.
