In the day and age when security is the need of the hour, we talk to Abbas Netterwala, the founder of the leading security systems integrator in India – ACE Solutionz.
What inspired you to start Ace Solutionz?
I was always driven by entrepreneurship and wanted to do something on my own. Around a few years ago, I actually started off as a partner in a company which provided Invisible Sound technology which was originally outsourced from Singapore. The product was brilliant but didn’t suit the Indian audience and was an extremely expensive affair. Alongside, there was a booming security market, which I found myself more comfortable in handling. Given the increase in crimes that are happening around, securing yourself, your homes & offices is of utmost importance. Venturing into the field of security & surveillance gave me a boost to not only cater to a niche crowd and make my mark in the Security Industry but also to make a difference while I am at it. Thus, Ace was born.
What’s next in line? What are your expansion plans?
Each assignment inspires me to do my next even more efficiently. We’ve now moved from the basic CCTV Camera’s, Bio metric & video door phones to GPS mapping for trucks technology. Ace Solutionz has also now launched their very own Demo room to showcase their Home automation as well. Ace will also be collaborating so as to start distributing security surveillance & automation products to national and international markets. We are also contemplating to build an App for Ace Solutionz for better functioning. Given how Ace began, I think we’ve come a long way and still have many more milestones to go.
What would you say is the Vision & Mission of your company?
ACE Solutionz began with a singular goal: To provide security systems integration, service and support to various clients in India. Pursuing this vision, ACE today has evolved into an internationally managed enterprise with operations spanning all over India and has the unique ability to provide support for our clients’ security needs throughout India. We believe in providing comprehensive security solutions for individual, corporate, industrial, and diplomatic clients throughout India and safe guarding their world.
What is the major challenge or the hurdles you faced in this Industry?
Honestly, convincing people that they need to secure their premises! We live in a hallucinated world, where people refuse to believe that security is of utmost importance – a necessity & not a luxury. So until someone’s house or office isn’t broken into they don’t really secure their premises.
What is the advice you will give to budding entrepreneurs like yourself?
Go ahead, take risks. Be extremely passionate about what you do. Don’t be lazy, go after what you want and don’t worry if it has been done before. It’s okay to start small, but be aggressive. And never give up.
