1. 17-year-old student commits suicide after not receiving NEET hall ticket

Harishma, 17-year-old, student from Pudhukottai in Tamil Nadu committed suicide. The suicide was committed because she failed to receive the NEET entrance exam ticket. She had recently finished her 12th boards and had applied for NEET. All her friends received the ticket except her resulting in depression.

2. Final semester exams of UG & PG courses to be conducted by Odisha by September 30

The government of Odisha has decided to take exams of all UG and PG courses in varsity. The final examination for the mentioned courses will be taken by September 30 and the results will be declared before 31st October. The decision to let the examination take place came after a video conference of vice-chancellors and principals.

The global software dealer, Infosys, has said that it would hire 12 thousand US workers by the year 2022. In 2017 they had plans to hire 10,000 people. They overachieved their target and recruited 13,000 people. Now they plan to create a workforce of 25,000 by 2022
