‘Exam schedule’ of CA being circulated on social media, fake: ICAI

The CCM of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has said that the CA exam dates were being circulated on Whatsapp or other media is fake. The clarification by the institute about the rescheduled dates comes after a tweet by a user about the fake notice was being circulated on different social media platforms, later the institute said, “ Don’t believe fake news.’’

Delhi HC says anti-CAA protests aim to cause disaffection against India

Delhi high court refused bail to 27-year-old university student Asif Iqbal Tanha, saying, “vociferous agitation in the guise of Citizen Amendment Bill, and was meant to cause or intended to cause disaffection against India”. Charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in the Northeast Delhi riots case, Asif was denied bail for the second time.

ISRO to launch earth observation satellite and 9 commercial satellites, first in 2020

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch an earth observation satellite and 9 commercial satellites from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on November 7. Due to the spread of COVID-19 in March, the launch did not happen. A scheduled launch was planned due to which this launch is said to be the first of 2020 from India’s only Spaceport in Sriharikota.

Media not reporting Biden family’s corruption charges: Trump

US President Donald Trump while addressing a rally in Arizona, accused media companies of not reporting corruption charges against the Biden family. Trump said, “Here is a guy (Hunter Biden) who gets caught and the media doesn’t want to write about it’’. He further quoted, “ We don’t have freedom of the press, we have suppression of the press’’. 

Twitter facing an outage in most parts of India, attempts made to fix the glitch

Twitter was down for some users in most parts of India along with some other countries like Europe, the Us, and South America due to some glitches in its internal systems. “The was no evidence of a security breach of hack behind the outrage”, said the company in a statement.
