If there’s one thing that can get an animated conversation going, it’s got to be a piping hot, cuppa Joe at Mocha. When Riyaaz Amlani (CEO & MD, Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality) opened his first café, he’d imagined a place that served up homely fare and a refreshing cup of brew. Ten years on, Mocha has gone on to redefine the cafe culture nationwide with 18 outlets across nine cities, picking up numerous accolades along the way.
Mocha believes in making happy memories around food and drinks shared with lifelong friends. While retaining the all-day breakfast concept as well as the selection of 17 global coffee beans and numerous teas, Mocha has embraced changing culinary trends and introduced holistic options like salads, juices, burgers and starters.
Mocha’s driving force has always been its fantastic customers. When Amlani talked about the anniversary, he echoed that sentiment by saying, “Mocha is built on a passion- fuelled by joy, friendships and milestones shared within our space. And it’s these experiences that have helped us prosper over the last decade.”
The experiences Amlani discusses can be seen very clearly across all their outlets. If you’re artistic, let your imagination run wild at Mocha ArtHouse (New Delhi) and at the retro café and bar Mocha Mojo (Mumbai and Chennai), you’re always buzzing on high energy levels.
Mocha has also initiated many out of the box clubs. What started with the Mocha Backpacker Club in 2003 has flourished into many clubs which continue in the same spirit of creating boundary free communities, like Mocha Tree Huggers for the nature-lovers; Mocha Bike Association for biking enthusiasts; Mocha Film Club for cine buffs and Mocha TRIP for good ol’ fun stuff like comics and photography.
Mocha is celebrating its anniversary by highlighting the best of the past ten years through a special menu recapping favorites, film screenings, bike rides and workshops by prominent personalities, among other exciting events.
So drop by at the café to partake in the festivities as Mocha continues to brew a social revolution through endless coffees and conversations
