Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kanpur, is a non-profit organization established to nurture entrepreneurial culture in IITK, and open doors for the next generation innovators, entrepreneurs and changemakers to get out there and leave their marks on the world.
They are all packed up and ready for their flagship event of the year, E-Summit’19. This 3-day event, starting from 30th August, will bring together the academic community, venture capitalists, new age entrepreneurs and all those passionate about entrepreneurship to common grounds. Ranging from competitions to workshops and sessions, the summit will have everything a budding entrepreneur needs to ignite the fire within. The five major competitions including Business Quiz, Pitch Prime, and Stock the stock will challenge your managerial and Entrepreneurial skill sets. Entrepreneurship Cell organizes workshops with the aim to give them a taste of real-life technical and entrepreneurial journey. Workshops include AI & ML, Design Thinking for Startups, Fintech, idea evaluation and Wealth Creation in the Stock Market.
Upstart, being the biggest business planning competition of India, with a judging panel of over 8 eminent venture capitalists, angel investors, incubators etc. is an opportunity you would not want to miss. More than 30 speakers, including the Founders of HackerEarth Vivek Prakash, Founder of Dare2Compete Ankit Agarwal, Founding CEO of Mindtree Ashok Soota, CEO of RedBus, and many more have been invited to endow their expertise and experience in the field.
Young Achievers, sessions on social change, corporate talks, women entrepreneurship and future tech would complement and complete these talks and workshops.
