BITES AND BOOZE: This would be one of the best meals you’ll have in a long time. Start off with samuza hincho, which is basically a nice tangy soup with a samosa in it, really good! For drinks, try the Oh No tamarind, in which the coconut shavings with the jaggery enhance the taste even more. Accompany this with an assorted salad which consists of raw mango, grapefruit and tea leaf separately. Roasted chilly steamed buns are served with delicious condiments, and don’t miss out on the sweet corn fritters and chickpea tofu. For the mains, go for the Burma Burma Oh no Khowsuey and Coconut rice with Peanut Chutney, and save some space for dessert, such as the house favourite, Burmese falooda and a chocolate dome.
FAB OR DRAB: With a great staff and an ambience that is really nice, it’s an aptly decorated place with some traditional prayer wheels and statues. Make reservations a day before you plan to go, as it gets really crowded.
