About Vaayu’14
Mumbai High on college festival fever promises to be taken by storm by NMIMS SOC’s National level festival, Vaayu. Vaayu’14 is to host a plethora of events ranging from management events to performing arts from 17th to 20th December, 2014 in JRM Grounds, Vile Parle W. With 67 events and 4 pronights, Vaayu’14 proves to be an extravaganza!
Youth Empowerment – Agenda Vaayu’14
Vaayu has always adopted a cause which forms the core of the fest. This year, the cause is Youth Empowerment. Vaayu aims to provide opportunities for young individuals to be heard, participate in decision making, prove their mettle and express themselves in their fields of interest. A journalism event ‘Youth Scoop’ ensures that your opinion is the only one that matters and awards the winner with an internship in ‘Youth Ki Awaaz’.

Revelation – 19th December, 10am to 3pm
A case study event wherein the participants have to showcase their own take on social issues in front of Industry Veterans.
I Am Iron Man – 20th December, 1:15pm to 4:45pm
I Am Iron Man is centred around testing the physical fitness of it participants. It will involve doing push ups, crunches, obstacles, pulling a car and much more!
Just A Minute (JAM) – 19th December, 2pm to 6pm
JAMis centred around the ability of participants to be able to think on their feet and communicate effectively. It is the perfect forum to showcase your public speaking skills.
Panel discussion – 20th December, 1pm to 3pm
Who doesn’t like a good debate? This event showcases the brightest minds from various industries and walks of life discussing a wide range of topics and relevant matters.
Steal the Show– 19th December, 3pm to 5:30pm
Crowning the winners as ‘Mr and Miss Vaayu’ this event paves way for the ones with wit, spontaneity, skill and confidence.
Walk In The Box (Product Fashion Show) – 20th December, 2:30pm to 5:30pm
We give you a chance to make a whacky outfit which seems good enough to walk with. Get ready to exhibit your talent on the ramp.
War of DJs – 18th December, 6:30pm onwards
Gear up for a crazy screaming and jumping audience to your beats. Create the stir around and compete strongly to become the champions of the War of DJs on 18th December.

Sunburn Campus is back at Vaayu on 17th December, 6:30 pm onwards! Bigger and Madder! – With the best Sunburn Campus line-up ever… DJ Shaan, Zaeden and Aditya Wanwari!!!
Foam Party
The newest and possibly craziest concept to hit the streets this year, we at Vaayu’14 are all set to take it to next-level with Foamville – A Foam Party with the most breath taking line up of M1h1r, DJ AJ & Lost Stories! Foam cannons and electrifying music on 19th December, 6:30pm onwards!
Glow Party
Vaayu’14 once again brings you the most awaited party of the year!! So be prepared to ‘GLOW’ your brains out to the beats of DJ CHETAS & Armaan Malik. Glow paints, bands, sticks, glasses and what not! Come with no memories at all and leave with many on 20th December, 6:30 pm!
Comic Act
How can the fest be complete without a little humour!! So come and unleash the comedian within you and tickle everyone’s funny bone. Join the madness with Schitz en Giggles and Suresh Menon on 19th December!
