The Kensington Palace released a statement confirming that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are expecting their first child in the Spring of 2019. Their announcement comes nearly 5 months after the two tied the knot in a star-studded Royal Wedding.
As of now, no further details have been revealed. “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public”, the official statement read.
The Duke and Duchess have embarked on a tour of Australia and have touched down in the country today. The Duchess sent fans into a tizzy and sparked pregnancy rumours when she arrived in Australia carrying two bulky purple folders strategically carried close to her stomach.
She also set the rumour mills running at Princess Eugenie’s recent wedding when she donned a rather loosely fitted dress. Fans took to Twitter to cook up theories that the Duchess is pregnant. Her inevitable ‘glow’ also fuelled those rumours further.
Fans and royal watchers who had been keeping track of Meghan’s outfits reported that the Duchess had been sporting much looser outfits at her recent outings, and her clothes aren’t as ‘tight’ as they used to be.
