Macquarie University, one of Australia’s top 10 Universities announced scholarship worth AUD $1.5 million to reward outstanding students in India, with a focus on supporting postgraduate female students, undergraduate students across all Macquarie courses, and students Interested in pursuing data science.
Macquarie University is consistently ranked amongst the Top 10 universities in Australia (ARWU, 2017) and Top 250 in the world (QS, 2017). It is ranked amongst the top 100 in the world in nine disciplines (QS 2015 rankings by subject).
The Macquarie International Women’s Scholarship for postgraduate female students will enable women in India to achieve their career goals by improving the affordability of acquiring an internationally renowned Masters degree from Macquarie. The scholarship will provide for up to AUD $11,000 in tuition fees for the full duration of the course.
The Macquarie University Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship is being offered to applicants applying for undergraduate degrees and provides for up to AUD $17,000 in tuition fees for the full duration of the course for academic session commencing in 2018.
Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships – Data Science Scholarship for Indian Students – Macquarie University has recently launched a new Master of Data Science program. To encourage high quality applicants for this new industry-oriented program, the University will offer a scholarship worth up to AUD $12,000 for the full duration of the course for academic session commencing in 2018.
Applicants for all scholarships will be required to meet the English requirements for the course they have selected and meet a minimum academic score in their last completed qualification.
The deadline for these scholarships is January 31, 2018 for Session 1 and June 30, 2018 for Session 2.
