With Asian restaurants raining in Mumbai, the presence of House of Asia in the city is no surprise.

CUISINE: Pan Asian and Indian
FOOD AND DRINKS: Go for their lip smacking kebabs – the Rajma Galouti Kebab and Tangri Kebab. The Chicken Kung Pao, spiced pumpkin Indonesian curry and Vietnamese stuffed mushrooms are favourites. Although the mango mousse served in tiny white chocolate cups, orange mousse, berry crumble, Mohan Bhog, Gelato and an array of toppings, pralines, brownies and mini macaroons are worth a try, the Indian desserts are more irresistible.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: The pan Asian ambience with elegant marble flooring and urbane woodwork undoubtedly sets the mood for any occasion. The staff is alert yet not intrusive. Their buffet spread is not extensive but is definitely economical. Their Oriental spread may not be impressive but their Indian preparations are to die for!
