In an era defined by rapid innovation and global networking, academic institutions play a crucial role in preparing students for the future.

Jai Hind College, a renowned institution in Mumbai is set to host its first-ever International Management Conference on April 24, 2026 centered around the theme “Industry 5.0: Governance, Technology and Sustainability,” organised by the Department of Management Studies, the conference marks a milestone moment in the institution’s journey towards academic innovation and global engagement.

This inaugural event is a multi-session research and networking conference that features participation from renowned professors from some of India's as well as institutions across the globe including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Trinity Business School (Ireland), and the University of Bristol (UK) to name a few. Whether it’s a first-year undergraduate student curious about the world of research, or a professional looking to reconnect with the academic world, this conference offers something rare: a chance to be where the future is being discussed.

The conference is set to be honoured with the presence of Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani Managing Director & Founder of Hiranandani Group of Companies, as the Chief Guest.

The Editorial Panel will be graced by Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha and Dr. Baidyanath Biswas, both from Trinity Business School, Ireland, will be joined by Dr. Sunil Tiwari from the

University of Bristol, England. The three will discuss cutting-edge research, publishing, and what it takes for young scholars to make their mark on the world stage.

The conference is also supported by a strong advisory board. Dr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, Founder and President of the SME Chamber of India, Dr. Arunima Haldar from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mr. Shishir Kumar Mishra, Secretary of the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB), and Dr. Shriniwas Dhure, Director of Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, forming the advisory backbone of this event.

The event is organised under the Chief Patronage of Dr. Rajesh Thadani, Board President of Jai Hind College, with Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Dabholkar as Chairperson and Dr. Rakhi Sharma as Conference Convenor along with the support of faculty members Mr. Prateek Kumar and Ms. Sravya Peethala and Ms. Sajiri Dhumak

Together, they have championed the idea that students deserve more than a classroom education they deserve a platform where they can engage with the world's best minds, contribute original research, and step confidently into their professional futures.

Students developed their skills by learning how to identify a research gap, frame a hypothesis, review existing literature, gather and analyse data, and present their findings in a clear and structured way. Beyond academics, the conference aims to create an environment for networking and collaboration. As Jai Hind College takes this pioneering step, the International Management Conference 2026 stands as more than just an academic event; it represents a forward-looking vision that aligns education with the demands of a rapidly changing world. With its focus on governance, technology, and sustainability, the conference is poised to inspire the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators.

Speaking about the initiative, a representative from the organising team shared, “This conference reflects our commitment to creating platforms that encourage innovation, research, and collaboration. Being our first international conference, it sets the tone for many more impactful engagements in the future.” The event will conclude with a gala networking experience, allowing participants to continue conversations in a more informal setting while celebrating the spirit of collaboration and learning.
