It’s time again for the annual Global University Rankings 2015, where we bring you a methodical ranking of the top 100 universities from around the world. As we’ve seen over the years since the inception of this idea in 2011, these rankings have helped students get a fair idea of the best college to pursue their higher education. Along with a top 100 ranking, we also rank universities across different criteria such as streams and regions. Our list also includes four universities from India, which have risen in their ranks, promising a brighter future for students who wish to continue studying in the country.
Taking cue from our newly appointed Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal who was a former IRS officer and now a seasoned politician, we call out to all budding artists out there, who are stuck in courses that are miles away from their passion to follow your heart. In Dream Chasers, we pay a tribute to those daring youngsters who chose to ditch high paying careers in management or engineering, to pursue their passion for photography. These self-taught pioneers have braved the odds and dodged self-doubt and persevered to make their mark.
I watched the much talked about and much awaited movie of the year, Fifty Shades of Grey, and felt that it wasn’t worth the hype. Besides showing some BDSM scenes, there wasn’t much that the film had to offer. But it’s time to accept that all people are wired differently, and they all have different expectations, be it in love or in bed, as I’ve mentioned in Handcuffed In Love, our Relationship special.
This March, as we celebrate the spirit of women empowerment and feminine power on Women’s Day, we take a glance into the lives of women who have conquered tough times to shine bright in Mumbai Memoirs: The Wonder Women. Mumbai being a microcosm of India, a city where people from all walks of life from all over the country live together in glorious harmony that is unmatched to any other city in the world, it is but obvious that these stories would resonate with everyone, anywhere.
