Having been the first festival to have introduced Sunburn on campus and be associated with VH1 Supersonic, Enchanted Valley Carnival and ISL Franchise FC Pune City, NEEV, SCMHRD’s annual B-school festival, is the 3rd largest of its kind in the country!
Held in December every year, NEEV, a fusion of business and cultural events, bears witness to over 35+ events such as Atlantis Diaries – A corporate and celebrity talk show, Augustus – The hunt for the best student manager, case studies and business simulations, gaming events, fashion show and many more informal events. NEEV, in association with Miss India Organization and Times of India is also host to FBB Campus Princess.
Besides these, the three action-packed days are lit up by the Celebrity nights. Last year, the EDM night witnessed DJ Shaan, the first Indian DJ to perform at Tomorrowland, spin the turntables, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The Bollywood night featured Aditi Singh Sharma, who made the crowd swoon with her sensational voice. The festival was wrapped with the tongue-in-cheek humour of EIC fame, Sorabh Pant!
This year, NEEV presented by MRF, and in association with YES bank, to be held on the 15th 16th and 17th of December, is expected to be bigger and better than ever before. SCMHRD is at the cusp of completing 25 glorious years and NEEV 2017 looks promising enough to make SCMHRD’s silver jubilee celebration a remarkable one! This year too, NEEV will be host to FBB Campus Princess and FC Pune City, upping the glamour and sports quotient of the fest.
While the EVC EDM night, on the 15th of December, powered by VH1, is expected to see Lost Stories, the only few Indians to perform at Tomorrowland as well as Mysteryland, widely known for their official remixes for Alan Walker’s ‘Faded’ and One Republic’s ‘Wherever I Go’ with prior releases on Tiësto’s own record label Black Hole Recordings under the names ‘All Good Things’, ‘False Promises’ and ‘The Purple Cow’, take the stage. The Bollywood night will feature the 22-year-old millennial’s queen with a mesmerising voice, Shirley Setia on the 16th of December! The YouTube sensation has won the BIG Golden Voice Award for BIG Digital Sensation along with Outlook Social Media Award for OSM Musician of the year in 2016.
