Ramnath Narayanaswamy

Prof. Ramnath Narayanaswamy is Distinguished Professor – Social Sciences at FLAME University. He received his Doctorate Degree in Economics and Sociology from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France and has completed MA and BA in Political Science from University of Poona. He also holds D.E.A in Sociology from University of Vincennes, Paris, France and D.H.E.S.S in Economics from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France.Dr. Ramnath has over thirty years of work experience and was associated with IIM - B, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune and School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences, Paris. He was Visiting Research Fellow in the Center for Russian and East European Studies at the University of Birmingham (supported by the Rockefeller Foundation) and was Reader in the Center of Eurasian Studies at the University of Bombay.
