The theme for this year will be ‘Steering India’s Economy in the Midst of Global Uncertainty: Reinventing Business for a New Era’.
SIMSREE (Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education) is about their flagship business event named SIM’ergence’23. The event is set to take place on March 14, 2023 at World Trade Center, Mumbai. The theme for this year is ‘Steering India’s Economy in the Midst of Global Uncertainty: Reinventing Business for a New Era’.
SIM’ergence is an annual academia-industry connect organised by the Corporate Relations team of SIMSREE. It is a humble attempt to bring together industry stalwarts and students under one roof to discuss matters which are part of current business trends. Here, eminent personalities from different areas of the industry share their views and insights on recent trends and challenges in the corporate world.
The event features two panels. Each panel consists of guests from varied industries from the corporate arena.
The first panel,‘Way through current economic uncertainties, business reinvention and survival ‘ moderated by Mr. Ashutosh Mishra (Head of Forex and Commodity Hedging Treasury, JSW Steel) includes experts such as Mr. Arun Kumar Singh (Founding CEO, IndiaOne Air), Mr. Arvind Mathur (CEO, Raymond UCO Denim) , Mr. Avinash Gupta (MD & CEO, Dun & Bradstreet), Mr. Mangesh Vaitla (Co-Founder, C2L BIZ) and Mr. Narayan Barasia (CFO, SBFC Finance).
The second panel, ‘India Navigating the Economic Storm’ moderated by Mr. Rupesh H. Acharya (Chief of Finance, BS & Legal, NPCI Group) includes Mr. Anurag Mishra (Regional Head Global Trade Community and Supply Chain Finance, International Finance Corporation – World Bank Group), Mr. Dattatraya Kale (Ex-Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India), Mr. Mehernosh Tata (Executive Director and CEO- mSME Business, ECL Finance) , and Mr. Siddhartha Sanyal (Chief Economist & Head of Research, Bandhan Bank).
Industry titans like Mr. Kishore Biyani, Mr. M.B. Parekh, Mr. Motilal Oswal, Mr. Murli Deora, and Mr. Ajay Piramal, among many others, have attended the event over the years.
