The Department of Mass Media, K.C. The festival witnessed over 7000 footfall and participation from over 15 colleges, with students competing across academic, cultural, and performance-based events. This year’s theme, ‘Echoes of the Lost Kingdom,’ encouraged contingents to creatively interpret imagined ancient civilisations through various forms of media and performance.

Day One featured events such as Tele-Twister, Tryst with Destiny, Point of Vyuh, Farq Hai Toh Tark Hai, along with two major flagship attractions. Shaukat-e-Showdown, the fashion show event, emerged as a crowd favourite for its creative concepts and strong stage presence. The street dance competition Gully Gully Sim Sim, judged by renowned dancer Tiger Pop, witnessed high-energy performances and strong audience engagement. A key highlight of the day was the surprise appearance of Bollywood actress and Dance India Dance alum Lauren Gottlieb, who interacted with participants, danced with students, and launched The Blitz Express, the annual magazine of the Media Relations Department. Several other industry professionals were present across events.

Day Two continued with competitions including dubbing, investigative journalism, poetry, music, DJing, and dance. Flagship events included the dance competitions and the DJ Boiler Room event, Gopi Ko Base Pasand Hai. The festival concluded with the band performance segment, which recorded the highest footfall.  The segment featured a special performance by popular singer Luv Juyal. It was attended by media partners Mr Dilip Singh, Founder of Radio Adda, and Mr Jaysha, Founder of My Faces. This led to the closing ceremony.

Based on cumulative performances, Contingent Dwarka emerged as the overall winner, followed by Contingent Polynesia as first runner-up and Contingent North Sea as second runner-up. Vice Principal and Head, Prof. Dr Shalini R. Sinha, and Convenor, Prof. Surya Gune, congratulated all participants.

The festival concluded on a celebratory note as the organising committee, faculty, and alumni danced together on stage, marking the successful completion of Blitzkrieg 2026.
