BJP promised to provide a free COVID vaccine under their manifesto for Bihar election. They said that once the mass production of the vaccine starts it will be given free of cost for the people in Bihar. Many opposition parties raised their voices against this statement and asked the central government about what would happen to non- BJP states?, will not all Indians get the vaccine if they don’t vote for BJP? and this ultimately created a political storm.
The government of Jammu and Kashmir extended the ban on high-speed 4G internet services till November 12 except in two districts, Ganderbal and Udhampur. The government added that internet services will be available in 2G only in the rest of the districts. Only post-paid and verified pre-paid SIM cards can avail of internet services in Jammu and Kashmir.
