On Monday, India got home a gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event at the ISSF World Cup in Delhi thanks to the Indian pair of Elavenil Valarivan and Divyansh Singh Panwar. During the event, the pair beat Hungarian world number one Istvan Peni and Eszter Denes by shooting a combined total of 16 in the gold medal match.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s first tweet has turned 15 and fetched $2.5 million (over ₹18 crore) at an auction. The states and UTs of India have received orders from the centre to increase the gap between two doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccine from four to six weeks to eight weeks. The reason behind this is that the vaccine is believed to provide ‘enhanced protection’ if the second dose is inoculated between six and eight weeks. This is however not applicable to Covaxin.
