Mumbai’s most beloved and electrifying college fest, Kaleidoscope is back with the theme ‘The Carnival’ to be held on the 9th and 10th of September, 2023. The festival is in association with Delhi Se, powered by VH1 Supersonic and will be a celebration of community and culture. The Kaleidoscope Festival, an inter-collegiate youth festival, is proudly hosted by Sophia College (Autonomous), a highly reputed institution located in South Mumbai, consistently accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC.
This year, Kaleidoscope is all set to see events like costume designing, prompt photography, dance performances, musical events, sports matches and so much more! In the past, these events have been judged by many prominent personalities such as Shantanu Maheshwari, Srishti Srivastava, Mihir Ahuja, and Kimberley Davis among others.
The festival has many events and activities already under its belt. One of the most anticipated events, Prom Night was held on the 22nd of August at Antisocial, Lower Parel. The days leading up to the prom were full of prom-posals throughout the college. Full of music, dancing, and performance by the band Broken Echoes, the Prom Night was tremendously successful.
On 24th August, 2023, the team of the movie Akelli came to the college to promote their upcoming movie. Widely popular actor Nushratt Baruchcha enthusiastically endorsed the festival, saying, “Big shoutout to you Sophia College and Kaleidoscope, you guys have done an amazing job all the years I was there and I’m sure you’ll continue to do so.”
With an impressive footfall of over 30,000 students from colleges across Mumbai, Kaleidoscope is a major crowd puller. Whether you’re a student or a guest, K-scope ‘23 promises an unforgettable experience.
