BITES AND BOOZE: Set up in the typical Irish backdrop, this outlet amongst the 6 in the city is a must visit. Located among the hustle and bustle of Bandra, The Irish House has a buzzing ambience with their new menu. For the starters, the Cajun Spiced sweet potato fries were a brilliant find. Adding to it were the pulled pork cigars that combined with chilli flakes in a homemade phyllo pastry. The Bar menu was a major crowd puller, as expected. Starting off with the Jameson’s Sperm, a delicious cocktail made with Jameson Whisky, orange juice and grape juice is a total Yes! The inverted Bird; Vodka, apple juice, passion fruit syrup served with an inverted bottle of kingfisher. Flaming s‘mores: 6 marshmallows dipped in Sambucca, flamed on the table.Overall the bar menu has fruity flavour touch to it. The main menu was no less. To try with is Cheeky grilled chicken burger which is seasoned and with grilled chicken topped with paprika and mayo, garnished chopped hardboiled egg, assorted lettuce and cheddar and mozzarella spread served with sweet potato and chill pineapple relish. The Legendary Burrito chicken containing Mexican rice, baked pinto beans, tomato salsa, sour cream, jalapenos, lettuce wrapped in soft tortilla garnished with nacho chips is also a must try.
FAB OR DRAB: This place has a wonderful crowd and great music adds to it. An absolute weekend retreat with your buddies.
