A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr Darcy (Sam Reilly) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper-class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield. That’s right, people; we’re looking at the brilliance of the classic Pride and Prejudice in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. It can’t get more exciting than this.

The official ‘Batman vs. Superman’ plot synopsis reveals why the two superheroes are fighting. As we’ve long suspected thanks to the initial teaser and basic common sense, Ben Affleck’s Batman will start a brawl with Henry Cavill’s Superman because he’s concerned about what an all-powerful alien being can do to the human race. To be fair, we don’t blame Batman for wanting to take action – we saw what happened to Metropolis after the battle with Zod.
