Destination Weddings

India is blessed with an amusing tapestry of natural and artificial landscapes and it won’t be wrong if going to be married couples choose to get married in a location that is exotic and beautiful. Private wedding halls and municipal mandaps are losing its charm and resorts, beaches and cultural buildings (mahal) are becoming a thing now. Some of the popular wedding destinations in India include – Goa, Kerala, Jaipur, Hyderabad and hill stations of the north.

It doesn’t matter if you have 1000 friends on FB, 100 friends on college WhatsApp groups or a big fat family located in different cities, the new generation exactly knows who is important to them. The trend of organizing intimate, small scale wedding has replaced the old days when a wedding was all about inviting everyone in the town and maintaining the prestige of the family. Millennials strongly favor cost-effective weddings and believe in living the moment with people they are close to.

Eco- friendly Theme

Similar to how wedding halls are losing their charm, the use of inorganic things like POP, thermal, cement, concrete and metal is also being ditched by the wedding planners and couples. The new trend of setting the mandap outdoors and keeping it all natural with floral arrangements and tree decorations encourages the weddings to become more cultural and eco-friendlier.

Marriage is special for anyone and announcing the date of this auspicious day has become a grand affair altogether.
