SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce recently organised the theme release event of Frames Film Festival- an initiative of BMM Department. The event started with some splendid dance performances that portrayed the 5 Eras of Bollywood which depicted the vision of the directors through these eras.
The fest was graced by actor and model Freddy Daruwala. He chanted the phrase “GO FRAMES” along with the crowd. The theme was revealed, “Director’s Cut- An Ode To The Makers”, which is a salute to the various directors in the film industry and their vision to portray art in its purest form.
Frames Film Festival also conducted a CSR activity in the month of November. A visit was made to Nere High School where activities like lantern making, playing games with the underprivileged kids were also a part of it. The kids were shown animated movies, in order to inculcate their interest towards movies and the process of filmmaking.
The students were delighted and got to learn bits of the art of film-making. The day rested on a very special and pleasant note. Frames Film Festival will take place on 10th, 11th, & 12th of January, 2019.
