Nom Nom, Mumbai (Rs. 800 per person)

A cosy fine dining experience, perfect for a romantic evening.
CUISINE: Asian
FOOD AND DRINKS: The Red Chicken Pattaya is a good option to start your meal with. The hint of lemon grass adds a refreshing, tangy flavour to the dish. For vegetarians, the Agedashi Tofu is a necessity. Soft and moist, this meltin- your mouth dish is sure to impress. The Burmese Khao Suey is Nom Nom’s most prized dish. Fresh noodles in a bowl with a rich, coconut-based curry served separately, this one’s a winner for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The one disappointment on the menu is the Thai Iced Tea. Try it only if you can handle a really potent dose of cardamom.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: A place for good quality Asian food. If you’re looking to save some bucks, skip the dessert and drinks and experiment with the starters instead. 3 Shubham Housing Society, Juhu Versova Link Road, Mumbai
