1. Delhi University allows students to carry their own mobiles and paper for exams

Delhi University exam to be conducted on September 14th has asked the students to carry their own answer sheets. The exam to be conducted will be an open-book exam conducted for the students from undergraduate and postgraduate. The Delhi University exams will give students the liberty to write exams with their electronic gadgets like mobile and laptops.

2. Karnataka to reopen colleges in October

For the first time since March, degree and professional colleges in Karnataka are set to open up. The tentative date for the reopen is October 1. The government is still in talks with the Centre and the guidelines from the Centre will decide the final solution. The plan to reopen was expressed by deputy CM CN Ashwath Narayan.

For 20-year-old, Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash, Maths is a piece of cake. His mathematical abilities has gotten him the first prize in the annual Mental Calculation World Championship at Mind Sports Olympiad in London. The competition was conducted with genesis coming in from 13 countries. He also has four world records and fifty Limca records under his belt.

4. The Indian Economy is more stable than the global financial crisis.

The Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday said the Indian economy is more stable then the global financial crisis experienced a decade ago. Even though the economy is comparatively sound more reforms should be implemented, said Shaktikanta Das.

6. Hurricane Laura hits USA

An “extremely dangerous” hurricane named Laura made landfall in Louisiana. It is a category 4 hurricane and The U.S. authorities warn everyone to beware of great danger. It blows at 240 km per hour with “storm surge, extreme winds and flash floods.” The speed of the wind is enough to rip buildings apart, said forecasters.

7. Rhea seeks police protection against threats to her life.

Actress Rhea Chakraborty has asked the Mumbai Police on Thursday to aid her with police protection. The aid was asked because there is a threat to her life and her family’s life. The star took to Instagram and shared a video where her father has been harassed by reporters. The star and her family want police protection so she could fully cooperate with the investigation.

8. SC to reconsider its verdict on sub-classification of SC/STs

The Supreme Court said that its verdict in 2004 regarding the sub-classification of SC and ST is not valid. The 2004 verdict of a constitution bench in the E.V. Chinnaiahs case needs rework. The decision was taken by a five-judge bench by Justice Arun Mishra. The case will now be taken with the guidance of the Chief Justice of India.

9. Audi RS Q8 Sportback launched in India for Rs, 2.07 crore

On Thursday Audi came out with its new RS Q8 Sportback for the Indian customers. The German-based company has brought it the latest and sportiest of the “Q” range. The car is an SUV coupe made for the family. It has a V8 twin-turbo engine that gives 599 PS. The car can be booked at the starting price of Rs 15 lakh.

10. Chinese Human Rights Activist ask everyone to vote for Trump
