National Social Summit 2021, IIT Roorkee “Envisioning Better Healthcare Evolution”

“Uncertainty is the only certain circumstance that prevails.” Almost a year back, who could have thought of a pandemic that would put the world at rest. The dynamic roller-coaster of time never is a merry-go-round. COVID-19 and its shocking impact have petrified the whole world. It created the emergency for redesigning health and/or care systems. The fight is not over yet, but hope has always been there. Amidst the life-threatening environment, all healthcare workers, “the selfless warriors,” are devoted and are devoting themselves wholly to healthcare settings. They are caring, care that extends to the community. 

As a warm gesture for the community of our selfless warriors, Social Summit 2021 presents the theme, “Envisioning Better Healthcare Evolution.” Team summit invites representatives from all over India to ignite our resolution to embrace life saviors on the land. “Working selflessly is not the only way of serving the society.” 

The two-day extravaganza is thoughtfully planned to create a fun-learning-networking. Inquisition – the collection of multiple theme-based quizzes, workshops – to enhance the practical understanding of the crisis, B-Plan Competition – to pave the way to an entrepreneurial mindset for showcasing the mettle in front of experienced people, Guest-Lectures – hear from leaders about their story and networking-sessions where you get to know other delegates. 

Social Summit establishment dated back in 2016. Started by the inspired youths with a resolution to come together and propose technical solutions to the country’s socio-economic problems. The initiative theme,”’Envisioning Better Healthcare Evolution” , Social Summit 2021, is a step towards advancement in health facilities and health workers’ respect. 

The present condition has made it easier to snatch some time out for our routines and that too comes without a lot of logistic and travel planning requirements. Having attended multiple online events and carefully listening to delegate experiences, the National Social Summit Team have pin-picked the cherries and planned the experience. The team has put innovative ideas to design an experience more than an event.
