It’s the coldest month of the season for India, but something hot is brewing in Mumbai. Mood Indigo, the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay, is back with a boom. Mood Indigo: An Ethereal Odyseey, in its 51st edition, over the years has grown to be one of the biggest cultural festivals.
Because the show must go on, no matter how challenging the situation is, the festival will be virtual. A Mood Indigo Core Group Member said, “Although the festival is virtual, people will get an experience like never before. We have created a virtual campus simulation where people will be able to attend concerts.” The two-day festival is set to kick off from today.
Mark your calendars for this weekend to experience a journey like never before. Mood Indigo will provide the best get-away tour to a Virtual World with power-packed competitions, soothing music bands, and surreal talents to the esteemed speaker sessions.
The weekend will kick start with the presence of Salim Merchant, followed by the most celebrated chef of India, Mr. Sanjeev Kappor. Humor is inevitable for any festival, and hence Mood Indigo brings to you an evening full of humor with Sapan Verma.
Mood Indigo presents an esteemed speaker session featuring Suresh Prabhu with a blend of Music, Food, and Humor. To increase the fever of the festival, Mood Indigo celebrates the ten years of “The Viral Fever.” Shows like Aspirants, Kota Factory, Pitchers have touched the hearts of millions of people. Prepare yourself for witty banter with a tinge of nostalgia as Mood Indigo takes a trip down memory lane!
Who would want to miss a match of India v/s Pakistan, and that too, a final! Enter Gautam Gambhir, the architect of the 2007 T20 world cup final victory. His accolades speak for themselves as a recipient of the Padma Shri and the Arjuna Award. He now serves as a representative at the Lok Sabha while helping support and empower children of martyrs through his foundation. Mood Indigo brings you a session full of thrill and excitement with one of the finest Indian batsmen to have graced the game.
This enticing day will end on a high note with B Praak and his all-time bests, such as Ranjha, Mann Bharya, and Teri Mitti. The entry is free for everyone to join the musical night full of life and thrill!
Any cultural festival is incomplete without music. Eight music bands will celebrate their presence from different countries like Argentina, Germany, India, Canada, Poland, with many more lined up. Talent is intrinsic to any cultural festival, and Mood Indigo is no different. Under Talent Fiesta, talent shows will be taking place this weekend, with artists performing from all over the globe.
