The swim struggles

“I learnt to swim after jumping in the water. I was 8 years old. My cousins in Indore asked me if I knew how to swim. I said no. They said jaa seekh le. They tied a rope around me and pushed me into a dark well, 30 ft deep. There was a turtle, a snake and two fish for company. My cousins tied me and left me hanging there with some theory lessons on swimming,” the star explained.

Money matters

Everybody knows that the star charges a bomb but not many know that Salman Khan earns more than Hollywood actors like Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

The actor is said to have a soap fixation. Reportedly, his bathroom at home is stacked with soap. He loves natural fruit and vegetable extracts when it comes to soap. Khan has painted his movie Jai Ho posters. It is said that Aamir Khan’s home has several paintings by Salman. He also wanted to be a writer. The story of ‘Baaghi: A rebel for Love’ was Salman’s idea for which he was given credit in the film. He also wrote films like ‘Veer’ and ‘Chandramukhi’.

Salman flew his own cook to London from Mumbai to dish up biryani to the cast and crew of the movie London Dreams who were sick of eating continental food.

Salman Khan’s obsession with fitness has inspired many a Bollywood actors like Hrithik Roshan and Arjun Kapoor. According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, no matter how much the actor loves fitness when it comes to diet, he gorges on everything. One of his guilty pleasures is blueberry muffins which he indulges in every once in a while.

According to a Mid-day report, superstar Salman Khan has never had an email id. While the actor has a Twitter account and is quite active on the same, he doesn’t have an email id on his name. He reportedly loves to talk to people face to face and avoids interacting on emails. During an interaction with a radio channel in Dubai, Salman confessed that he has never felt the need to have an email id as he prefers picking up the phone and telling the person concerned what he has to say.
