WE – Woman Endangered – is an initiative to create an ongoing dialogue on gender sensitivity issues. Woman Endangered originated with the intention of doing something beyond the passive responses of fury and armchair activism in the face of increasing violence against women.
WE will be a platform to think, discuss and act through white papers, dialogues and on-ground activities. Gender sensitisation requires a far more inclusive approach and not one that entails pointing fingers and getting into semantics.
The inaugural event of WE is slated for 7th February 2014 and is partnered by and hosted at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication auditorium, New Delhi, amidst 200 students
As a first step, WE has created a survey on youth and gender sensitivity, the results of which will be consolidated and shared through WE’s first public dialogue at IIMC, JNU on 7th February.
Take the WE survey here and promote the cause of women safety and protection.
