I Came, I Saw, I Instagrammed

Everyone today is seen with a phone in their hand busy photographing something, they find ‘instagramy’. You and me, both undoubtedly and unapologetically ‘Instagram’ too. 

From sharing stories of our breakfast to letting our ‘followers’ know the time we return back home from work, Instagram has become an indispensable part of our lives. It has brought people including celebrities closer to each one of us by giving us updates of their lives.

Instagram has left no stone unturned. It has extended its reach in all the industries today. Travel, food, lifestyle, beauty, clothing, sports, fitness, business, etc have all been engulfed by the world of Instagram. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the way we visualize the world today is largely impacted by Instagram.

Travel: Not just people, but the world’s most beautiful places too have come closer to us. Wherever people go today, they try their hands on taking the best picture of the place. The wish to try clicking beautiful images comes after seeing other travel photographers’ uploads. Most of the Instagram handle with a large number of followers use their phone itself to click pictures which makes their followers feel that they too can click such images. 

Fashion: Instagram has reshaped how people perceive fashion too. May personal bloggers dealing specifically in fashion have exposed their followers to various cool and fun ways of dressing. These fashion influencers tempt their followers to dress up in specific styles and upload pictures on their handle too.

Therapy and Storytelling: Instagram has provided a platform for all those who think they write well. There are innumerable poetry and quotes handle who generate content that deals with positivity, relationships, love, sarcasm, etc. The poetry and quotes are very often accompanied by beautiful pictures of nature, landscapes, skyscrapers, objects and also people. 

Instagram has always been all about clicking and uploading pictures. However, how you click an image and how you see it is what plays a crucial role in making it look instagramy. Though instagramming seems easy, it is skill only few have mastered.
