ASSASSINS CREED III

Rating:

Assassins Creed III is the fifth major episode in the Assassins Creed series. It is a sequel to Assassins Creed II (2009).
PLOT: A multifaceted scenario offered by Ubisoft Montreal, it shows the American Revolution as the ideal setting for a covert war, with indistinct aspirations attributed to the Templars and the Assassins. Ezio Auditore de Firenze, the new hero, is traced through childhood into his temperamental adolescence and youth by the gamer. Having witnessed the death of his mother, he is revealed as a vengeful, Brit-annihilating youth with multiple powers. Things move with strategic convenience during game play and switch to abandon ethical play every so often.
GRAPHICS: There’s a good chance you’ll miss the magnificence of Assassin’s Creed III, since the game has you wading through raging action, giving no express importance to the intrinsic picturesque scenery. So even though the enthusiasts know what they can expect, they succumb to overlooking the panoramic view.
GAME PLAY: Gamers are transported to 18th-century North America with Boston and New York as the backdrop. Attention to detail is visible in the ensuing scenes, bringing alive the event, as though it’s happening in that period. Freeing shanties, scaling rooftops, thick tree cover and other authentic depictions of a bygone period form the backdrop. The sooner you adapt, the lesser time the game will lure you. The central character, Ezio, sadly, is absent. Replacing him is Connor Kenway, half Brit and half native American with a burning need to annihilate the British and the Templars.
FINAL VERDICT:If you are a beginner, you’ll be engrossed with a new passion. If you are an old hand, you’ll still be charmed; but what the heck, it can’t hurt for the protagonist to smile once in a while or have a wry sense of humour.

NFS MOST WANTED

Rating:

NFS Most Wanted being EA’s latest release offers a variety of confrontations, changing cars and super slick contests.
CONTROLS: On the iPad 3, it’s a professional marvel. Tilt controls (often a flaw in iOS games) are amazing.
GAME PLAY: Solo players rejoice! A wonderful street race, packed with gratifying moments and accomplished with utmost conviction.
GRAPHICS: The graphics are simply outstanding. The level of detail is comparable to what you would get in a PC game.
FINAL VERDICT: You know why you’re still a fan of this finger-flicking marvel of a game. It’s simply brilliant.

Platforms: IOS, ANDROID, PS3, XBOX 360, MICROSOFT WINDOWS, PS VITA, WILL U
